How to Make Pasta Chips in Air Fryer, Deep Fried or Baked

Here's a fun appetizer your family and friends will lose their minds over. Pasta chips. Salty, crunchy and seasoned your way, pasta chips go with all our favorite dips. Put these crispy snacks on your entertainment menu.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bowtie pasta
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • 1 cup chopped frozen spinach, thawed and dried
  • 15 ounces artichoke hearts chopped and drained
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Pull out and measure your ingredients.
  2. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Do not overcook.
  3. Drain the pasta. Do not rinse. Let it sit a bit to cool and drain.
  4. In the bottom of a large bowl, mix oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, Italian seasoning and black pepper.
  5. Toss the pasta with the oil until evenly-coated.
  6. Place pasta in the air fryer basket in batches and cook for 5 minutes at 400.
  7. Toss the pasta around.
  8. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the pasta is golden-brown.
  9. Repeat with remaining pasta.
  10. Cool and serve with your favorite dip or check out our favorite dips.

Oven Directions

  1. After boiling and seasoning the pasta, spread the pasta on a baking sheet lined with tinfoil or parchment paper and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes until golden- brown.

Deep fry Directions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350 degrees. Place pasta in the hot oil for 3-5 minutes until golden-brown. Drain on paper towel. Repeat with remaining pasta.

Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Drain chopped spinach and artichoke hearts.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan, garlic salt and pepper. Fold in the spinach and artichokes into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Place the dip into a 8 x 8 baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Serve and enjoy every bite!
