- Set the microwave to high and heat the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. TIP: This helps ensure even melting and prevents scorching.
- Repeat the process until the chocolate becomes smooth and fully melted.
- Adjust the time according to your microwave's power, as they vary.
To melt chocolate on the stove top
- Set up a double boiler by filling a saucepan with 1-2-inches of water and heating it over medium-low heat until it simmers.
- Place a heatproof bowl on top, ensuring it fits snugly without touching the water (this is important so the chocolate doesn't seize).
- Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and stir gently until they melt completely.
Notes
