  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs cubed
  • 1 cup PLAIN yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Add chicken, mix well, and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat butter in a pan. Sauté onions until golden brown. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  3. Stir in marinated chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes. Add cream, sugar, and salt. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
