- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 cup sugar free BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- First, combine all seasonings. Rub this seasoning mix all over the pork butt.
- Add the olive oil to your Instant Pot. Press sauté. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the seasoned pork inside. Sear for 3 minutes on each side.
- Then, press cancel. Pour the broth, BBQ sauce, and apple cider vinegar on top of the pork. Secure the lid. Move the top valve to the sealed position.
- Pressure cook on high for 60 minutes. Once the timer goes off, do not touch the pot. Allow the pressure to naturally release for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, carefully move the top valve to venting. Release any remaining pressure. Open the lid.
- Use two forks to shred the pork. Feel free to add more BBQ sauce or serve with the sauce in the pot.
