Jugo de Zanahoria y Naranja [Video + Recipe] Carrot and Orange Juice

Carrot and orange juice combines fresh blended carrots with orange juice to create a vibrant, refreshing beverage. Optionally sweetened and served over ice, this juice balances the earthy sweetness of carrot with the citrus notes of orange juice, making a hydrating and flavorful drink.

Description

Jugo de Zanahoria y Naranja is a juice recipe blending washed and chopped large carrots with water in a blender to liquefy the carrots. The solids may be strained out for a smoother texture, as is traditional in the Dominican Republic. The carrot juice is then mixed with orange juice to add citrus brightness and natural sweetness.

The juice can be sweetened with granulated sugar or an alternative sweetener to taste before serving over ice. This step is optional, allowing for adjustment according to personal preference and the natural sweetness of the oranges used.

This juice serves as a refreshing beverage, suitable for breakfast or anytime hydration. It highlights the natural flavors of carrot and orange in a balanced and chilled form.
