Keto Chocolate Milkshake
Description
The recipe combines almond milk or alternative nut or seed milks with cacao powder for chocolate flavor, vanilla extract for aroma, collagen and whey protein powders to boost protein content, and almond butter for richness and texture. Optionally, cinnamon and a pinch of salt enhance depth of flavor. Ice cubes add chill and thickness if desired.
The mixture is blended on high speed until frothy and smooth, which can be done with a high-speed blender or a hand frother. Optionally, the shake can be garnished with whipped cream or coconut cream and a piece of sugar-free dark chocolate for added indulgence.
This milkshake is practical as a protein-rich beverage for breakfast or a snack. Nutritionally, it is low in carbohydrates and can be sweetened with low-carb sweeteners to suit individual taste. Best enjoyed fresh, it offers a creamy, lightly chocolate-flavored drink that fits within ketogenic guidelines.
