Ingredients
Savory Pancake:
- ½ cup heavy cream room temperature
- 6 large eggs room temperature
- 2 ounce cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoon unflavored whey protein powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for the pan
Filling:
- 6 ounce sliced deli ham chopped
- ¾ cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoon green onion chopped
Instructions
- Gather and prep all of the ingredients. Preheat oven to 400F.
- Add all ingredients for the savory pancake (except for the butter) to a blender.
- Blend for 60-90 seconds to fully combine and aerate the mixture.
- Place the butter in an oven-proof pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, remove the pan from the heat and add in the batter.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the pancake is fluffy and browned. The center should be just set.
- These pancakes can rise non-uniformly and will deflate some once taken out of the oven.
- Once you remove the pancake from the oven, top with the toppings and garnish with green onion. Serve and enjoy!
