Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate in the microwave using short bursts of heat, about 20 seconds at a time, stirring between each round of heat until melted and smooth. Transfer to piping bags and snip off the tips.
Boo-nanas
- Peel the bananas and slice them in half. Use melted dark chocolate to pipe eyes and circular “O” shaped mouths.
Killer Strawberries
- Use a small, sharp knife to remove the tops of the strawberries so they can sit flat on a serving platter.
- Use melted dark chocolate to pipe a “U” shaped mouth on one side of the top of each strawberry. Use melted white chocolate to pipe jagged teeth starting from the outer edge of the mouth and going in toward the center.
Orange Pumpkins
- Peel the oranges. Stick pieces of cilantro or parsley stems in to give the impression of a pumpkin stem.
Pretzel Brooms
- Peel open the mozzarella cheese sticks and cut them into thirds. Use clean, sharp scissors or a small knife to snip the bottom half of each piece several times to form bristles. Stick a pretzel stick into the top for a broom handle.
Franken-Kiwis
- Use a small, sharp knife or vegetable peeler to remove the fuzzy outer skin from the bottom 2/3 of each kiwi. Slice in half and lay on a plate.
- Pat the kiwi with a paper towel, then use melted dark chocolate to pipe a scar and a line for a mouth. Pipe two dots of chocolate, then stick googly eye sprinkles on to the face. Break apart pretzel sticks and stick them into either side of the kiwi for bolts.
