Kielbasa and Potatoes Recipe
Description
This Kielbasa and Potatoes Recipe starts by cooking baby red potatoes in olive oil until fork-tender and golden on the outside. Separately, sliced smoked sausage is browned to develop a robust flavor and crispy edges. The sausage is then cooked alongside minced onions and sliced red bell peppers seasoned with Italian seasoning, garlic, and red pepper flakes, which softens the vegetables and infuses the dish with savory and mildly spicy notes.
Once the vegetables and sausage are ready, a splash of chicken stock and hot sauce is added to the pan to moisten the mixture and add subtle heat. The cooked potatoes are returned to the skillet to reheat and absorb flavors. The dish is served immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese for brightness and umami enhancement. This combination creates a satisfying meal with tender, slightly crispy potatoes, savory sausage, and flavorful vegetables.
The recipe suits a straightforward skillet preparation that balances textures and seasoning, making it ideal for a filling weekday dinner or casual gathering. The mix of spices and fresh garnish adds layers of aroma and taste without complication.
