Lemon Dill Salmon in Foil
Description
This recipe features salmon baked in foil sheets with a mixture of melted unsalted butter blended with fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried dill, salt, and pepper. The salmon is placed on a foil-lined baking sheet and topped with the butter sauce. The foil is folded to seal completely, trapping steam during baking at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
The cooking method produces tender, moist salmon with pronounced lemon and herb notes. Garlic and dill build an aromatic profile that highlights the natural flavor of the fish. The gentle baking in foil avoids drying out the salmon while imparting delicate texture.
Serving immediately, sometimes garnished with fresh chopped dill, presents a lightly flavored, elegant fish course suitable for dinner. The foil packet simplifies cleanup and helps preserve the fish's juiciness.
