Lemon Garlic Chicken Bites

Lemon Garlic Chicken Bites are small pieces of chicken breast seasoned with herbs like oregano, basil, and parsley, cooked in butter with garlic and finished with fresh lemon juice. The tender, herbaceous chicken is enriched by the buttery garlic sauce and brightened by lemon, making for a savory and fresh bite-sized dish that works well as a main or snack.

Description

This recipe calls for boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into one-inch pieces, seasoned evenly with dried oregano, basil, fresh parsley, kosher salt, and black pepper. The chicken cooks in two stages of butter, first browning evenly without overcrowding the pan, then briefly cooked with garlic for added flavor. Lemon juice is drizzled on at the end to add acidity that balances the richness of butter and garlic.

The cooking technique ensures the chicken pieces have a golden exterior while staying moist inside, with fresh herb notes permeating the meat. The garlic adds a fragrant depth, and the lemon juice brightens and cuts through the butter’s richness. This dish is suited for serving immediately to preserve the tender texture and fresh flavors, and pairs well with rice, vegetables, or as an appetizer.

Notes mention alternate cooking in an air fryer for a slightly different preparation method, offering flexibility for the cook.
