Linguine w/ Clam Sauce

An inexpensive, quick to prepare, white clam sauce that pairs perfectly with linguine or any pasta desired!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 lb linguine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 20 oz. chopped clams, chopped
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • Parmesan, shredded (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine (or pasta of your choosing) according to packaged directions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. 
  3. Add in the garlic and clams, stirring together for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the white wine and cook for 3 minutes, or until the sauce is reduced.
  5. Add in remaining 1 tablespoon butter and stir until melted/incorporated.
  6. Reduce heat to low and pour in the lemon juice. 
  7. Add in the parsley, cream, salt and pepper stirring until incorporated.
  8. Allow mixture to simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes.
  9. Pour pasta into a large bowl and add sauce on top. Toss to combine. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve!!
