Description
The Mango Margarita uses frozen mango pieces blended with ice, tequila, triple sec or another orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup for sweetness. This combination creates a smooth, creamy frozen drink with a balanced blend of fruitiness, citrus brightness, and boozy warmth.
Rimming the glass with lime juice and margarita salt or sugar adds an extra layer of flavor and texture that complements the drink’s natural sweetness. A lime wedge garnish adds a final fresh touch. The blending process ensures the ice and mango combine to give the drink its characteristic cold, slushy texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup Mango frozen
- 1½ oz tequila
- ½ oz triple sec or other orange liqueur
- lime juice of 1/2
- agave to taste
Instructions
- Add the ice and frozen mango to the blender.
- Add in the tequila, triple sec, agave and lime juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Using a lime wedge go around the rim of the cups, dip into margarita salt or sugar.
- Pour the drink, garnish with lime wedge if desired and enjoy!
