Ingredients
- 2 ounces blanco tequila
- 1 ounce orange liqueur triple sec, cointreau, grand marnier
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup or agave syrup
- Optional garnishes: limes lime zest, coarse salt, tajin

- Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake.

Notes
- Always use smooth-tasting, high-quality tequila. A bad-tasting tequila will make a bad-tasting margarita. You want it to be smooth with a slightly sweet flavor.
