Mimosa Recipe (Champagne Orange Cocktail)

The Mimosa Recipe blends sparkling wine or champagne with orange juice, optionally enhanced by Grand Marnier and orange bitters. Garnished with mint or orange slices, this cocktail offers a refreshing, light drink with a balance of effervescence and citrus that works well as a brunch or celebratory beverage.

Description

This Mimosa Recipe combines dry sparkling wine gently poured into champagne flutes with orange juice. Optionally, Grand Marnier adds a hint of orange liqueur, intensifying the citrus flavor, while orange bitters provide subtle aromatic complexity. The drink is topped with garnishes such as a mint leaf or orange slice, adding visual appeal and a hint of fresh aroma.

The preparation requires pouring sparkling wine at least halfway in each glass, adding Grand Marnier if desired, topping with orange juice, and optionally a few drops of orange bitters. The ingredients blend smoothly to produce a lightly fizzy drink that balances acidity and sweetness.

Mimosas are typically served at brunches, parties, or celebrations to offer a festive and uplifting beverage. Adjust ingredient quantities for larger servings by mixing in a pitcher as noted.
