  • 72 mint leaf more or less to taste, fresh
  • 8 lime quartered
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 liters club soda
  • 2 cups white rum

Instructions

  1. Add the mint, limes, and sugar to a large pitcher and muddle together until mint begins to break down and becomes fragrant and limes are juiced. 
  2. Add the club soda and white rum to the pitcher and stir to combine.
  3. Serve over ice. 

Notes

  • Strawberries or raspberries lend a fruity variation when muddled with the traditional mint and lime ingredients.
  • Use any light rum you prefer; Bacardi Silver is a common choice but not required.
