Moscato Sangria
Description
This Moscato Sangria blends a bottle of sweet moscato wine with Chambord raspberry liqueur, fresh sliced blood orange, halved strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. The mixture is stirred gently to combine and refrigerated for at least three hours to allow the flavors of fruit, wine, and liqueur to integrate. Chilling also enhances the refreshing character expected of sangria.
Before serving, the sangria is stirred again and poured into glasses mostly filled with the mixture. It is finished with sparkling water, which adds effervescence and lightens the sweetness without diluting the fruit flavors. Ice can be added to keep it cool if desired.
This sangria offers a balance of sweet, tart, and sparkling elements making it suitable for warm weather gatherings or as a vibrant cocktail option. Fresh fruit pieces add color and subtle fruity infusions to the drink as it sits, providing texture contrast with the bubbly liquids.
