Negroni Spritz
Report
The Negroni spritz is a bubbly twist on the classic Negroni cocktail. It's a Negroni variation made with dry gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, Prosecco and soda water. Served over ice in a wine glass, it’s a festive cocktail perfect for warm weather holidays or celebratory occasions. If you love both an Aperol spritz and the bitterness of Campari, you'll love this spritz cocktail!

Ingredients
- ½ ounce dry gin like Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire
- ½ ounce campari
- ½ ounce sweet vermouth
- 3 ounces Prosecco or other Sparkling Wine
- 1 ounce soda water or seltzer water more or less to taste
- orange slice or twist for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth in a cocktail shaker or glass measuring cup and pour into a wine glass.
- Fill the wine glass with ice cubs
- Fill the wine glass with ice cubes, then add the Prosecco and soda water. Stir once to combine.
- Garnish your Negroni spritz with an orange slice or twist.
Notes
- The base of this Negroni spritz is the classic Negroni ratio for a well-balanced spritz.
- For the gin, use a dry gin like Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire.
- Prosecco is a sparkling wine from a specific region in Italy. Like all sparkling wines, you can buy bottles with a range of sweetness depending on their residual sugar. For this Negroni spritz and other spritzes, I recommend an inexpensive bottle on the drier side labeled as brut or extra dry.
- Serve your Negroni spritz in a large wine glass filled with ice for a refreshing, chilled sparkling wine cocktail.
