One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese

The One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese combines ground beef, aromatic onion and garlic, beans, tomatoes, spices like chili powder and cumin, elbow macaroni, and cheddar cheese into a single pot. The dish cooks pasta directly in the seasoned tomato broth, creating a hearty, cheesy meal with layered textures and a hint of spicy warmth, finished with fresh parsley for brightness.

Description

This One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese begins by browning ground beef with diced onion, then adds garlic and simmers in chicken broth with diced tomatoes, two types of kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Elbow macaroni is added and cooked in the flavorful broth until tender. The pot is then removed from heat, and shredded cheddar cheese is stirred in to melt, forming a rich, creamy sauce binding the ingredients. Fresh chopped parsley sprinkled on top adds a balance of freshness and color. The method consolidates cooking steps in one vessel, blending chili and mac and cheese elements into a unified, hearty dish with a balance of meat, beans, spice, and cheese. This versatile meal serves well as a filling main dish that combines multiple textures and tastes in an efficient preparation.
