One Pot Pasta
Description
One Pot Pasta combines thinly sliced smoked andouille sausage, thinly sliced onion, halved grape tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and sliced garlic with uncooked spaghetti in a stockpot. Adding water and seasoning, the mixture simmers until the pasta cooks through and the liquid reduces, naturally blending the sausage’s smokiness with fresh vegetables and herbs.
The dish finishes with grated Parmesan cheese stirred in, which melts and thickens the sauce, and a drizzle of olive oil for richness. This method creates a saucy pasta without needing a separate pan.
It is best served immediately to preserve the balance of textures between tender pasta, sautéed sausage, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil. The simplicity and ingredient combination make for a flavorful one-dish meal.
