Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on low for 30 seconds. Take it out and stir. Continue to microwave in 15-second intervals until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Use a fork to dip each Oreo in the melted chocolate and coat both sides. Take it out with the fork, lightly tapping the fork on the edge of bowl to remove excess coating. Put the coated cookie on the parchment-covered baking sheet.
- Immediately press two candy eyes into the center of the cookie and one red M&M into the bottom.
- Dip the bottoms of two mini pretzels in the chocolate and place one pretzel piece on each side of the cookie to form antlers.
- Do not disturb the cookies after the pretzels are put in place. Allow the coating to fully harden before moving the cookies to keep the antlers from falling off.
- After all the cookies are decorated, let them sit at room temperature for one hour or in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden.
- These cookies keep for 1 day at room temperature or up to 1 week in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
- Use tweezers to place the eyes, or make sure your hands are dry, so they don't smear.
