Ingredients

  • 4 lices bread Pa de Pagès or Country Bread
  • 2 garlic halved, cloves
  • 2 tomato halved horizontally, well-ripened, medium
  • salt for sprinkling, sea salt
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Arrange the slices of bread in a single layer, cut side up, on a baking sheet.
  2. Place under the broiler and toast until golden. If desired, toast the other side.
  3. Rub each slice of bread lightly on the toasted side with the cut side of the halved garlic cloves.
  4. Rub the bread well with the cut side of the tomato halves.
  5. Serve immediately sprinkled with sea salt and drizzled with olive oil.
