Parmesan Chicken Bites
Description
These chicken bites start with boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into chunks, seasoned with salt and pepper. They are dredged in flour, dipped in beaten eggs, and then coated thoroughly with a mixture combining panko breadcrumbs, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, which lends a subtle smoky flavor alongside the crisp texture.
Cooking the bites in batches in hot vegetable oil forms a golden crust while keeping the chicken moist inside. The quick frying technique requires careful attention to avoid overcrowding, ensuring even browning. After frying, the bites are drained on paper towels and can be garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
Serve these chicken bites on their own as snacks or with dipping sauces as part of a casual meal or appetizer spread. Their crisp coating and savory taste make them a versatile option for various dining occasions.
