Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted (2 sticks)
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1½ cups crunchy peanut butter
- 1¾ cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter melted
Instructions
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray or line with parchment. Set aside.
- Stir together the graham crackers, butter, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the crunchy peanut butter and stir again.
- Add the powdered sugar and stir again until combined.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan in an even layer. Set aside.
- Heat the chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl in 30-second increments until runny and smooth.
- Add the creamy peanut butter to the chocolate, stir to combine, and pour it over the peanut butter layer. Spread the chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer.
- Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes or until the chocolate layer is set.
- Cut it into 12-15 bars and serve.
Notes
- Storage: Store peanut butter bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
- Make sure that when these bars are kept in the fridge, they're truly in an airtight container. Any air that gets in can ruin the consistency of the bars.
- Any brand of peanut butter will work! Just pick your favorite so you know you'll like the final product.
- These make great lunchbox treats! Just pop one in a little baggie to surprise your little one.
