Peanut Sauce Recipe

This Peanut Sauce recipe mixes peanut butter with spicy sesame oil, lime juice, tamari, grated ginger and garlic, and sambal chili paste to create a balanced sauce with savory, tangy, and spicy notes. The sauce combines creamy texture with a flavorful kick, ideal for pairing with salad rolls, roasted vegetables, or various salads. It can be prepared in minutes by shaking or blending the ingredients until smooth.

Description

The Peanut Sauce is prepared by combining creamy peanut butter with sesame oil that carries a spicy element, fresh lime juice for acidity, tamari for salty depth, and freshly grated ginger and garlic to add warmth and complexity. Sambal chili paste provides heat and a slightly fermented pepper flavor. These ingredients are thoroughly mixed to achieve a smooth sauce that clings well to vegetables or rolls.

This sauce can enhance a variety of dishes, serving as a dip or dressing that complements fresh, cooked, or roasted vegetables. The balance of creaminess, acidity, saltiness, and spice makes it versatile for meal additions needing a flavorful boost. It is particularly suitable for dishes in need of a nutty, slightly spicy element.

Storing the sauce in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator extends its use for up to one week. Increasing the quantity is recommended if planning to enjoy it over multiple meals within that time frame. Mixing or blending ensures even consistency and smooth texture.
