Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Add the butter, garlic and salt to small bowl. Microwave for 15 seconds at a time until butter is melted. Stir to combine.
- Unroll the crescent rolls.
- Use a pastry brush to brush the butter mixture over the crescent dough.
- Use a pizza cutter to cut each triangle into 3 long pieces.
- Take a cocktail sausage and wrap the dough around it. Place it on a cookie sheet lined with parchment. (It’s helpful to place a small bowl on the baking sheet to use as a guide for the wreath.)
- Continue wrapping each sausage and placing them side-by-side in a circle.
- Once the first circle is complete create a second circle inside the first making sure each cocktail sausage is touching.
- Brush the butter mixture over the wreath and sprinkle with the Everything Bagel Seasoning.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes and remove when golden brown.
- If desired, use fresh Rosemary sprigs and tuck the pieces around the wreath.
- Place a bowl of ketchup or another dipping sauce in the center of the wreath to serve.
Notes
- This is a very flexible recipe and can be arranged in many festive ways, such a football shape for tailgate parties, a heart shape for Valentines, a Shamrock for St. Patrick’s Day, a candy cane for Christmas.
- Try Dijon mustard spread on the inside!
- Depending on the size of the wreath you want to make, you may need an additional tube of crescent dough and cocktail sausages.
