Pizza Cones are pizza dough shaped into cone form and then baked in the oven until golden brown. Add your favorite toppings into the pizza cones and they are a really fun way to eat pizza!

Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough or homemade pizza dough
- 1 egg beaten
- your choice of toppings
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Take regular 8.5×11” sheet of paper and form cone shape. Repeat and make about 6-8 paper cones.
- Take slightly larger sheet of aluminum foil and wrap around paper cones.
- Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and roll out pizza dough to about 18 inches square.
- Using a sharp knife, slice 2-inch wide strips from the dough. Wrap one strip around each cone. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes until the cone can hold its own shape.
- Remove from oven and remove foil and paper. Fill with your favorite toppings. Bake another 8-10 minutes until gold brown. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Cut your pizza dough into strips with same width for a more consistent look.
- Make sure to seal the bottom of the cones so that the filling won’t leak through.
