Instructions

  1. To Prep: Place a sheet of parchment paper, wax paper, or a silicone baking mat on top of a cookie sheet. This will help keep everything stable while you make your spriderwebs. It also allows you to pick everything up and move to the fridge or freezer to set faster.
  2. Heat the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Scoop the melted chocolate into a piping bag with a small round tip or a hole cut in the end.
  3. Pipe a small circle of dark chocolate about the size of a dime on top of the parchment paper or baking mat. This will be the spider's body. Use the chocolate to draw 4 legs on each side of the spider. Allow to set completely.
  4. Arrange 8-10 pretzel sticks in a circle, so that one side of each pretzel meets in the center to form a star shape.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips using the same process as you did for the dark chocolate. Scoop the white chocolate into a piping bag with a small hole in the end.
  6. Use the white chocolate to make a large dot in the middle of the pretzel web that will hold the pretzel sticks together. Now pipe circles or a spiral shape on top of the pretzels to look like a spider web.
  7. Take one of the chocolate spiders you made and place it on top of the web, while the white chocolate is still wet. If using sprinkles, this is also when you will add those. Allow the chocolate to harden before moving or serving.
