Pumpkin Waffles

Crispy on the outside and full of all the pumpkin flavor you love on the fluffy inside, these pumpkin spice waffles are a new fall breakfast favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk whole
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • cooking spray nonstick

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Stir together with a fork until a batter forms, mixture is still lumpy, but no dry spots remain.
  4. Set waffle iron to desired temperature. Once heated, lightly spray the top and bottom with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Pour ⅓ cup of the batter into the center of the waffle iron and press. Once desired doneness has been achieved, transfer waffle to a baking sheet and repeat until all batter has been used.
