Yogurt Parfait
Description
The yogurt parfait combines smooth, mildly sweet vanilla yogurt with crisp granola pieces and fresh, sliced strawberries and raspberries or alternatively blueberries. The method builds alternating layers of yogurt, fruit, and granola in serving glasses, which keeps textures distinct and appealing.
The natural sweetness of the berries and honey topping compliments the creamy yogurt base while the granola adds a crunchy element that balances softness. This approach maintains fresh fruit flavor and a mix of textures, suitable for a quick assembled breakfast or a simple dessert.
Serving immediately preserves the crunch of the granola and the brightness of the fruit. The layers can be adjusted based on preference, changing the fruit type or granola amount. This parfait is straightforward to prepare with minimal ingredients and equipment.
