Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
- 2 ½ cups quick-cooking oats
- ⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
- ¼ cup pecan chips optional
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9"×13" inch pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter so that it makes nice clumps and there is no dry mix left. Press just over 1/2 of the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Stir the pecans into the remaining oat mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix jam with water, and spread over the crust. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 23 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned. Cool before cutting into bars.
