[Recipe] Batida de Níspero (Sapodilla Milkshake)

Batida de Níspero is a creamy milkshake blending peeled sapodilla (níspero) fruit with sugar, vanilla extract, evaporated milk, and ice. The result is a smooth, sweet, and silky beverage showcasing the unique flavor of sapodilla. This milkshake is served immediately to enjoy its refreshing texture.

Description

This recipe features sapodilla fruit peeled and cubed, combined with granulated sugar, vanilla extract, evaporated milk, and ice cubes in a heavy-duty blender. The ingredients blend until very smooth and silky, producing a rich and creamy milkshake. The sapodilla adds a distinct sweet, malty flavor that pairs with the vanilla and milk base for a balanced taste.

The texture is thick yet drinkable, cooled by the ice and mellowed by the evaporated milk. This milkshake does not require cooking and focuses on blending fresh ingredients to highlight sapodilla's natural qualities.

It's best served immediately after blending to maintain its creamy, chilled consistency. Variations can use almond milk or coconut milk as substitutes for evaporated milk, which may alter flavor but retain smoothness. This allows adaptations for dietary preferences.
