Sage Chicken Thighs

This quick and healthy Sage Chicken Thighs recipe makes for the perfect weeknight meal or meal prep. All you need are a handful of ingredients to turn chicken thighs into a delicious and flavourful meal!

  • 4 tbsp chopped sage
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup olive oil plus 1 tbsp
  • 8 to 10 chicken thighs boneless, skinless

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken thighs with chopped sage, lemon juice, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, brown sugar, and olive oil. Marinate for 30 to 60 minutes if you have the time.
  2. On medium heat, heat up your skillet with 1 tbsp of olive oil before adding in the chicken thighs, smooth side down, and then cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Flip and continue to cook for 6 to 7 minutes, or until cooked through. Do not overcrowd the pan, cook in two batches if necessary. Be sure to add more oil for the second batch.
  4. Rest for a few minutes before serving.
