Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil
Description
The Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil brings together boiled baby potatoes and corn with smoked sausage and shrimp for an easy one-pan meal. Potatoes and corn are cooked until just tender in boiling salted water before adding corn. These ingredients are drained and combined on a baking sheet with peeled, deveined shrimp and thinly sliced andouille sausage. A melted butter sauce infused with minced garlic and Old Bay seasoning is tossed through to coat all components.
Baking at 400°F until the shrimp turn opaque and the corn becomes tender finishes the dish, allowing the spices and butter to mingle. The shrimp's quick roasting ensures they remain juicy without becoming tough, while the sausage and potatoes add hearty richness. The resulting combination features a mix of textures from tender vegetables, juicy shrimp, and smoky sausage with a garlicky, slightly spicy seasoning.
Serving immediately with fresh lemon wedges for squeezing adds needed acidity and brightness. Chopped fresh parsley scattered on top contributes color and a fresh herb note. This hearty, convenient dish works well as a shared main course or casual dinner where minimal cleanup is desired.
