Sheet Pan Teriyaki Salmon
Description
This recipe places four salmon fillets on a baking sheet with trimmed green beans and diagonally sliced carrots, which are lightly drizzled with olive oil, salt, and pepper. The salmon is spooned with teriyaki sauce to impart a sweet-savory glaze that caramelizes slightly during roasting.
Cooking at 400°F for about 16 to 18 minutes allows the salmon to cook through and flake easily while the vegetables roast until tender but still crisp. The simple seasoning and sauce combination emphasizes the natural flavors of the fish and produce without overpowering them.
Once removed from the oven, the dish is garnished with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds, contributing subtle sharpness and nutty texture. The single-pan method suits weeknight meals where ease and balance of protein and vegetables are priorities.
Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the salmon fillets; check for doneness by testing if the fish flakes easily with a fork.
