Slow Cooker Black Pepper Beef and Broccoli

The best black pepper beef and broccoli recipe is made in a crockpot with a delicious Chinese black pepper sauce, then tossed with noodles for a simple slow cooker meal that only takes 10 minutes of prep time!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak sliced against the grain
  • ½ cup oyster sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp mirin sweet cooking rice wine
  • ½ tbsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • ¼ cup scallions sliced

Instructions

  1. Add the beef to a slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, black pepper and beef broth, pour into the slow cooker.
  3. Set to low and cook for 6 hours, or cook on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 15-20 minutes before serving, add the rice noodles and broccoli to the slow cooker, make sure the rice noodles are under the liquid in the slow cooker. 
  5. Replace the cover and continue to cook on low for 15-20 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  6. Top with the scallions and serve.

Notes

  • Gluten Free Option: Use Gluten Free Soy Sauce and Gluten Free Oyster Sauce to make this recipe gluten free.
