Sourdough Pancakes
Report
Sourdough pancakes are super easy to make. They're light, tangy in flavor and best served with melted butter and maple syrup for an incredible breakfast. Prep time does not include the overnight sourdough starter mix to do it's thing. In the morning just add other ingredients and make those pancakes!

Ingredients
The night before:
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
Pancake Ingredients:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
Instructions
The Night Before:
- In a bowl mix together the water, flour and Starter. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or towel and let stand overnight in a warm, draft free place. I place mine in the oven or microwave.
In the Morning:
Take out 1/2 cup of mixture to go back into the original starter jar.
- To the new starter dough mixture that rose overnight add the salt, sugar, baking soda and eggs and mix thoroughly.
- Heat a griddle until water drops bounce. Do not use oil. Ladle 2 tablespoons batter onto the griddle. Turn when many bubbles are showing..
- Makes about 8 large or 24 dollar sized pancakes.
