Strawberry Fluff Recipe

This easy strawberry fluff is a no bake dessert salad recipe that is so light and airy! Quick and easy to make with simple ingredients of cream cheese, powdered sugar, marshmallows, and loads of fresh strawberries, it is great for all your summer BBQs and holiday parties!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (2) 8 ounce blocks
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups fresh strawberries cut into chunks (approximately 32 ounces)
  • Graham crackers for topping optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and blend on medium speed with a hand mixer until fluffy and smooth.
  2. Add in the whipped topping and gently stir to blend in. Do not over-mix it.
  3. Mix in the cut strawberries and mini marshmallows and gently stir to evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. (up to 2 hours is even better)
  5. Garnish with graham cracker crumbs before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen, thawed strawberries if desired. But be sure to pat them dry with paper towels or the salad will become watery.
  • Swap the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla for (2) 3.4 ounce cheesecake instant pudding mix or strawberry instant pudding mix blended with 2 cups of cold milk until thickened. Then stir in the whipped topping and strawberries.
  • Stir in sliced banana, crushed pineapple or blueberries if desired.
  • Add in chopped pecans or walnuts.
  • Add in chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
  • Make it into a Strawberry Fluff pie by putting it in a graham cracker crust.
  • Store leftover fluff in airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
