- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed (like Cool Whip)
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups fresh strawberries cut into chunks (approximately 32 ounces)
- Graham crackers for topping optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and blend on medium speed with a hand mixer until fluffy and smooth.
- Add in the whipped topping and gently stir to blend in. Do not over-mix it.
- Mix in the cut strawberries and mini marshmallows and gently stir to evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. (up to 2 hours is even better)
- Garnish with graham cracker crumbs before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Use frozen, thawed strawberries if desired. But be sure to pat them dry with paper towels or the salad will become watery.
- Swap the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla for (2) 3.4 ounce cheesecake instant pudding mix or strawberry instant pudding mix blended with 2 cups of cold milk until thickened. Then stir in the whipped topping and strawberries.
- Stir in sliced banana, crushed pineapple or blueberries if desired.
- Add in chopped pecans or walnuts.
- Add in chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.
- Make it into a Strawberry Fluff pie by putting it in a graham cracker crust.
- Store leftover fluff in airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
