Strawberry Mimosa Recipe

The Strawberry Mimosa Recipe blends fresh strawberries with orange juice and optionally honey, strained and topped with sparkling wine. It offers a fruity twist on the classic mimosa, where the fresh strawberry juice provides a balanced sweetness and bright color. This cocktail is adjustable in sweetness and serves well as a celebratory or brunch beverage.

Description

Fresh strawberries are blended with orange juice and honey to create a smooth, sweet base that is then strained to remove seeds and pulp. The resulting juice is poured into champagne flutes and topped gently with sparkling wine to maintain the bubbles and create a layered effect. The option to add honey lets the drinker control the sweetness, catering to both dry and sweet preferences. The drink’s effervescence and fruity profile make it suitable for social gatherings and special occasions.

Pouring slowly is necessary since the sparkling wine bubbles vigorously when combined with the strawberry juice. Serving glasses can be rimmed with sugar by dipping in water and sugar for added sweetness and presentation. The recipe yields enough strawberry juice for around eight mimosas, with the sparkling wine quantity adjusted accordingly based on glass size.

This mimosa provides a refreshing variation that pairs well with brunch dishes or light appetizers, enhancing celebrations where a sparkling alcoholic drink is desired.
