Suet Dumplings In Air Fryer

Let’s make suet dumplings in air fryer and load them up with your next stew or casserole.

Ingredients
- 100 g shredded suet
- 200 g self raising flour
- 55 g grated cheddar cheese
- 2 Tsp dried parsley
- 2 Tsp dried thyme
- salt & pepper

Instructions
- Load the ingredients into a bowl, and then stir with a wooden spoon.
- Gradually add luke warm water a bit at a time and keep stirring until it almost forms a dough.
- Flour your hands and then use your hands to form a dough.
- Tip the dough onto a clean chopping board and knead your dumpling dough for 3-4 minutes or until soft and smooth.
- Separate the dough into 8 equal weights and then make each piece of dough into a dough ball.
- Place the suet dumplings into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 180c/360f and air fry for 10 minutes.
- Then serve your dumplings with warm stew.

- Portions – what is wonderful about the quantities is its easy to scale up or down, depending on how many dumplings you want to make. Remember the golden rule of double the flour to the suet.
