Taro Boba Drink
Description
The recipe starts by blending ice, milk, sugar, and taro boba powder until smooth, creating a creamy taro base with a chilled texture. Cooked boba pearls are then added to the bottom of a serving jar before pouring in the taro mixture, providing a chewy contrast to the smooth drink.
This drink combines the earthy sweetness of taro powder with the creaminess of milk and the fun texture of tapioca pearls. It is served cold and can be adjusted by increasing ice for a slushier texture or modifying milk quantity for a milder flavor.
Cooking the boba pearls separately (such as in an instant pot) ensures proper chewiness. Doubling the recipe is straightforward for larger servings. This drink suits bubble tea enthusiasts looking for a homemade version of taro-flavored bubble milk tea.
