Instructions
- Put the Thermomix on the weighing scales and weigh out your butter and sugars. Then use the blender function and set speed 6 to 30 seconds.
- Then add in the golden syrup and the vanilla essence and mix at speed 6 for a further 30 seconds. Then use the paddle to scrape down the edges so that everything can get well mixed.
- Then finally add in the flour and mix for another 30 seconds on speed 6 until you have a creamy dough.
- Load into the Thermomix your chocolate chips and any crushed chocolate you are using.
- Then complete a final 30 seconds at speed 6 before removing from the Thermomix.
- Make your cookie dough into medium sized balls and then load four at a time into the air fryer basket over a layer of foil. Air fry, your choc chip cookies for 8 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Remove the cookies whilst still on foil from the air fryer, decorate the top with extra chocolate chips and allow them to cool before serving.
Notes
- Swaps. You can use any of your favourite chocolate in these choc chip cookies. You can also make a white cookie version and follow our air fryer white chocolate chip cookies recipe instead.
- Foil. Before using foil in the air fryer for the first time, I recommend you listen to can you use foil in the air fryer.
- Thick. If your cookie dough is too thick then add a little bit of milk and then blend it into the dough.
