Tiffany Mimosa Recipe
Description
The Tiffany Mimosa Recipe blends blue curaçao, fresh lemon juice, honey, and sparkling wine to create a colorful and refreshing cocktail. After rimming champagne flutes with lemon and sanding sugar, a mixture of honey, hot water, lemon juice, and blue curaçao is chilled with ice before being divided among the glasses. Topping with sparkling wine adds effervescence and lightness. The sparkling wine's dryness complements the citrus and honey notes, while the blue curaçao provides a distinctive bright blue color and mild orange flavor.
This cocktail suits celebrations or brunch settings and is served cold, enhancing its crisp and slightly sweet profile. The sugar rim adds extra sweetness and texture to each sip.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon sanding sugar or granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons water hot
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 ounces lemon juice fresh is best
- 1 ounce blue cura ao
- 12 ounces sparkling wine
Instructions
- Tie a white ribbon around the stems of four champagne flutes. Run a cut lemon around the rim of each glass then dip it into the sugar.
- Mix the hot water and honey in a cocktail mixer until the honey dissolves. Add the lemon juice, blue curacao, and a handful of ice and stir until it's cold.
- Divide between the four champagne flutes then top with sparkling wine.
