Ingredients
Salad:
- 3 pears
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 10 ounces salad greens
- 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup candied walnuts
- 1/2 cup goat cheese , crumbled
Balsamic Dressing:
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 clove garlic , finely minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cut the pears in half, core, and thinly slice.
- Add to a bowl and coat with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a serving bowl layer lettuce, pears, cranberries, walnuts, and goat cheese.
- Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper until well blended and set immediately dress the salad.
