Winter White Sangria

Winter White Sangria blends fresh winter fruits like apple, pear, mandarin oranges, and cranberries with warm spices including cinnamon sticks and star anise. Combined with orange liqueur and sparkling white wine, it creates a chilled, aromatic drink that balances fruity freshness with gentle spice. With no added sugar, it relies on natural fruit sweetness and can be enjoyed dry or sweetened to taste before serving.

Description

Winter White Sangria features a mix of crisp apple and pear slices, juicy mandarin orange segments, and fresh cranberries steeped overnight with cinnamon sticks, star anise, candied ginger, and a hint of salt. This infusion allows the spices and fruit flavors to meld. Just before serving, sparkling dry white wine is added over ice to create a refreshing, effervescent beverage with subtle spice and fruit complexity. The drink is intentionally unsweetened to maintain dryness, but sweetness can be added by stirring in honey or maple syrup if preferred.

This sangria suits festive winter gatherings or any occasion where a cold, light alcoholic drink with a seasonal fruit and spice profile is desired. It pairs well with light appetizers or as a standalone casual cocktail.
