Wonton Soup Recipe
Description
The Wonton Soup Recipe begins with combining chicken broth and water, brought to a boil with crushed garlic for a light garlic note. Frozen wontons are added directly to the simmering broth, softening through gentle cooking. Bok choy and sliced shiitake mushrooms contribute fresh vegetable flavors and texture contrasts. Soy sauce and sesame oil added near the end deepen the umami and aroma. Green onions on top finish the presentation with a fresh, bright touch. The soup serves as a warm starter or light meal with tender wontons and nourishing broth. Its cooking steps are straightforward, involving simmering rather than frying or making from scratch.
