Ingredients
Manouche
- 375 gms all-purpose flour or bread flour; 3 cups
- 60 ml extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup
- 1 tsp salt
- 140 ml water or a bit more, as needed, lukewarm, 3/4 cup
- 40 ml milk 2 ½ tbsp
- 4 gms yeast 1 ½ tsp
- ½ tbsp sugar or honey
Za’atar Mix
- 3 tbsp Za’atar Lebanese
- 60 ml extra virgin olive oil ½ cup
Notes
- The cooking time depends on your oven and how hot it gets. I slightly overcooked mine and it became a bit brittle. Ideally, you want the manouche to be crisp but soft enough to roll it if you want to.
