Air Fryer Burritos

Easy and crispy burritos at home.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 10-12 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup (199g) Mexican rice
  • 1 cup (164g) Corn
  • 1 cup (200g)Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup (120g) Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup (180g) Beans
  • 1 cup (250g) Salsa

Instructions

  1. Lay a tortilla down on a flat surface.
  2. Layer toppings into the center of the tortilla.
  3. Roll the burrito closed and place the burritos seam side down in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry for 5 minutes at 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.
  5. Remove and serve with salsa or cheese dip.

Notes

  • Microwave the tortillas or heat them in a dry skillet to make them more pliable and easier to fold once they have been filled. 
  • For easy prep, combine all your favorite toppings in a large bowl.
  • Don’t overfill the tortilla or the burrito may fall apart and the filling may ooze out. 
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Arrange burritos with plenty of space between each burrito, so they brown evenly and get crispy all over. 
  • Add hot sauce to make your burrito spicy. 
  • Want a softer burrito? Wrap the burrito in aluminum foil before air frying for a soft tortilla. 
  • For an extra crispy, chimichanga-like burrito, spray it with cooking oil before air frying.
