Instructions
- Preheat air fryer at 380 degrees for five minutes while you make the burger patties.
- Add the ground chicken to a medium bowl.Using the large grates on a grater, grate the onion and garlic over the chicken. Make sure to grate it over the chicken so you catch all the juice.
- Add the salt, shallot, red pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, lime zest and lime juice to the ground chicken. Using your hands or a fork gently mix everything together just until combined. DO NOT OVER MIX.
- Form the chicken mixture into four even patties.
- Spray the bottom of the air fryer with non stick cooking spray. Place all four patties in the tray. Spray tops with more non-stick cooking spray. Cook at 380 degrees for six minutes or until chicken reaches 165 degrees.
- While the burgers cook, make the aioli. Whisk mayo, garlic, cumin, lime juice, garlic powder and salt together in a small bowl. Season to taste.
- Spread a little bit of the aioli on the bottom and top of each bun. Top the bottom of each bun with lettuce followed by a chicken patty. Layer on avocado and serve.
