Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas

Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas are tender chicken strips, bell peppers, and onions, seasoned with fajita spices and cooked quickly in an air fryer. This might be your new favorite way to make fajitas! Seriously, I have been using this method the past few times I have made fajitas, and it is a no-fail (and delicious) way to enjoy them!

Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded, halved, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper seeded, halved, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow onion, halved, thinly sliced into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.*
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, bell peppers, onions, fajitas seasoning, and oil. Toss to evenly coat.
- Place everything in the basket of your air fryer. (Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to work in batches.) Air fry for 14-16 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Serve on tortillas with pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, or more of your favorite fajita toppings.

- *Oven Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place chicken, peppers, and onions in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Evenly sprinkle the fajita seasoning and vegetable oil over the chicken and veggies. Toss to coat.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Then, stir the chicken and vegetables on the pan and bake for 5 more minutes.
- Broil on high for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the chicken and vegetables. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
